BOT Governor: To Reassess Rate Appropriateness if Euro-Zone Crisis Worsens

Bank of Thailand Gov. Prasarn Trairatvorakul Wednesday
said the 3.0% policy interest rate is appropriate for the current economic
condition, but that it will be reassessed should the euro zone sovereign debt
crisis worsen.
