Philippines Central Bank Head: Space to Adjust Policy if
Needed

There is room to adjust monetary policy if
conditions warrant, the head of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Amando Tetangco
told Dow Jones Newswires in an interview Saturday. Mr. Tetangco said that for
the remainder of this year and next year, inflation will continue "to be
manageable," with average inflation for both years likely being closer to the
bottom end of the bank's 3%-5% inflation target.

Tetangco上周六在接受道瓊斯通訊社采訪時表示，菲律賓有在條件允許時調(diào)整貨幣政策的空間。Tetangco稱，預(yù)計今年剩余時間和明年，菲律賓的通貨膨脹仍將可控，今明兩年的平均通貨膨脹率可能位于3%-5%的央行目標(biāo)區(qū)間低端附近。
